The Sharkiss dance troupe is of the 21^st century, creative, original and always reborn!

The Phoenix, Al Anka in arabic, a mythical large Egyptian bird that never dies. The Phoenix represents the capacity for vision.  With its great beauty, the Phoenix creates excitement and deathless inspiration.  The Phoenix consumed in fire, arises from the ashes, and it was said that the legendary bird lived on dew, killing nothing or crushing nothing that it touches...

The Sharkiss's dance projects, like the Phoenix, are stimulating always renewed dance projects, featuring a large variety of Bellydance choreographies performed by  passionate dancers trained by Martine Wérotte at Studio Sharqui.  Their goal is to give high professional quality presentations.

To be amongst the chosen dancers and take part in these projects... talent, hard work, dedication and the ability to work as a team are requested!  The dancers must study in a group class at Studio Sharqui's and cannot be involved with another dance troupe.  They are also be expected to be fit and to maintain a healthy weight.
